My last design, mainly works it's idea around family, and how family is important to get together, and share the emotion. Even if it means to put behind all arguments and troubles behind close doors. The colour green is used as it symbolises youth and family (eastern culture). The Grandmother & Grandfather has a grey tint to it as this represents 'old age' but with green present within it to show the whole family connected.
The Family logo in the top left, is connected to each representative of the family, merged to make one, each one affected when something happens to one. And again each colour represents the colours chosen in the typography below it.
Own photography. Images are blurred out to an extent where it is visible to what is show, but is not the main eye catching composition. The reference colours is to present what colours would be present in that current image, and also the emotion that is present.
Whole idea behind the brief;
Creating a Xmas card, that does include the words, 'HAPPY', 'MERRY' or 'CHRISTMAS'
Avoid cliches : NO snow, NO 'Father Xmas', NO snowballs, NO Christmas Tree, NO snowmen & NO Turkey.
"This brief requires you to attempt this, so we avoid the bland over designed Christmas cards. Include narrative.
