One more week of work left :/

Well I've finally told my boss that I need time off, and get my head into the two A3 books, that look so bare...Need to fill it up with the ideas I got. Been so stressed out with work, tired of seeing Batman and Superman, and hearing 'Cupcakes' every second.

Hopefully with two weeks left before college, yes I got 2weeks left to squeeze out some juicy ideas out of this spongy brain, and see if I can redesign the iPhone (LOL), I mean run face first into this "24hour" brief.

I have this idea of using semiotics and typography to create a timeline, to show the start to the end, and how you arrived to the destination. Whether they were catapulted, as long as they can describe emotions, feelings and thoughts through icons so that the viewer can understand what they are trying to communicate, because this is what Graphic Design is.

Layout Workbook - Kristin Cullen "For the designer, design is a creative journey - a process of discovery - that is fuelled by inspiration and creative passion, as well as the desire to enrich and ignite communication. Designers are the engineers and craftsman of visual messages."

With the above quote, it explains perfectly how I want to process my ideas.

•What if this person who was experiencing his life whizz past him at supersonic speeds, making decisions on the spot, because he/she has 24hours to live.
•What would they do?
•What are their last words before they pass to the other side?

(Maybe because of the speed that they are rushing, the small 'animation' presented to the viewer is sped up, and the last few moments are slowed down so that they can process them memories.) - Motion Graphics

I will probably process this in three ways; Typographically, Motion graphics and Sound. Its a form of emotion that needs to be shared with the surrounding, and explain to them "this is what I saw flashed in front of my eyes".

Anyway I hope this explains where I am. Hopefully after Friday, I will be posting more, and showing the research and ideas that I have come up with.
